Automatically correct time with TimeSync?

Messagede Dirki » 11 Novembre 2015, 01:22

Can TimeSync automatically correct the system time permanently without intervention?

I think the followings would do the trick:
- add "/auto" command line parameter
- add TimeSync at Windows or Liberkey startup

Thank you, Dj.

- add "/auto" command line parameter

Where should I add it?

And how can I minimize it to tray?

Or, is there another program doing it easier / better?

I supposed Dji think you add the parameters in the shortcut properties of TimeSync in your Liberkey : Right click on TimeSync => Shortcut properties => Advanced like this :
ShortcutProperties.png
ShortcutProperties.png (33.94 Kio) Vu 20739 fois

You have to configure the Liberkey to run when Windows starts : Liberkey tools => Configuration => advanced options => Starts Liberkey at Windows startup/logon and verify in Liberkey tools => Configuration => Autorun you have enabled autorun .

Many thanks, JP4U.

Yes, I have, and yes, LiberKey starts programs at Win start up. But even when TimeSync runs, how can I make it to synchronize automatically, I cannot find any option for it. And in TS itself there does not appear to be an option to run minimized or to set to automatically synchronize the time.

Many thanks again

Have you seen LiberKey\Apps\TimeSync\App\TimeSync\timesync.txt ? in it you have :
>> Auto Mode

Option /auto is available if you want to run TimeSync from the StartUp Folder:
After making a shortcut in the startup folder, open the properties (right click), and add "/auto" in the target field (separated by space).
With this option the window will show only, if the clock offset exceeds a given limit (see settings), or if TimeSync cannot connect to a server.

Ah, no, I haven't.

Alright, I will try it that way.

Many thanks for the text extraction and finding it.
